  1/2/15 When the Rite-Aid on Contra Costa Blvd. was remodeling it's refrigerated section they emptied out their freezers and all of the delicious Thrifty ice cream inside of them. That was my only motivation to check out this location (even though it's actually slightly closer to my home.) We picked up my two favorites back in September 2014: Thrifty Cookies n Cream and Thrifty Mint & Chip ($4.99 each). The cashier was friendly but I'm still a loyal customer of the Pleasant Hill store - just my preference. I don't know how their Wellness+ points work, but I'm up to 47 points - not bad for someone who only shops at Rite-Aid for ice cream.
